MediaTek to Introduce Chipsets Designed in India

MediaTek, Taiwanese fabless semiconductor company is said to bring its Helio G90 Chipset in India which is focused to improve the gaming experience. MediaTek is in partnership with the Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi who is working together to design more smartphone chipsets that are designed in India.

The gaming software, processor design, and system on Chip (SoC) of MediaTek Helio G90 are designed at the facility of the company in India.

There are many more chips for the smartphone that are going to be designed in India. In order to do that you need to get the right leadership and engineering talent. That is why the company is hiring the talent right now which can help them to grow the design teams who can work on the chips.

The new MediaTek Helio G90 chip series is going to debut new month in India and the Chinese smartphone Xiaomi will be the first one to partner with MediaTek and will have Helio G90 Series in their device.

According to the firm, the total time is taken to design the chip series was about six months.

Helio G90 is the first product from MediaTek which will have Arm Cortex A76 plus and it also has Octa-Core design. The processor speed will go up to 2.05GHz. The team worked on the complete designing along with the chip integration.

India has a lot of talented engineers who are talented in hardware and software development. The chip design talent is quite strong in the Bengaluru region and that is why the company is planning to grow in a couple of years. Right now the company has about 650 engineers working for them and they will be about 800 in the coming years.

There are three facilities of the company in a country where they focus on development and research work.
